Its a perfect Chicken and Potato Bread Pocket Recipe explained with step by step pictures and Videos. Ideal to make Bread Cheese Pockets at your Ramadan Iftaar | Aftaar. A very popular snack recipe usually made up with Left over Bread Slices, Potatoes and Chicken. Chicken Bread Pockets recipe can be easily made up with Puff Pastry or flour sheets.

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 5 to 7 minutes 
Serves : 3 to 4 

Step 1: Prepare Filling

Ingredients:
  • 2 Large Potatoes, Boiled and cut in cubes
  • 1/2 cup of Chicken Boneless and Shredded, boiled with salt, garlic and Pepper
  • 2 to 3 of fresh green Chilies chopped
  • 70 grams of Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 tsp of Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp of Chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of Soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp of White Vinegar or Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp of Italian Mix herbs
  • 7 to 8 Bread Slices


Method:
  1. Mix all ingredients together except bread & set aside.
  2. Cut circles of Bread using glass.
  3. Repeat the same process for all slices.

Step 2: Assembling

  1. Spread out the filling on bread slices
  2. Place one bread over another.
  3. Seal the edges by using fork.
  4. Repeat for all Bread Slices.

Step 3: Crumb Coating

Ingredients:
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • bread crumbs


Method:
  1. Dip it in beaten egg.
  2. Roll over Bread crumbs.
Step 4: Frying

Ingredients:
  • Oil for Deep frying


Method:
  1. Fry until the coating is crisp and light golden brown in color.
  2. Dish out on a paper towel.
  3. Ready to Serve in a platter.
