Suji Halwa | Semolina Sweet Dessert
Preparation Time : 5 minutes
cooking Time : 10 minutes
Serves : 3 - 4
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of Clarified Butter (Ghee)
- 3 to 4 Cardamoms (Ilaichee)
- 1/3 cup of Semolina (Suji)
- 100 ml of Water
- 1/2 cup of Milk
- 1/3 cup of Sugar
- 1/4 cup of Desiccated Coconut
Method:
- In a wok, add Clarified Butter with Cardamoms.
- Then, fry Semolina in Clarified Butter till it changes color to light golden Brown. Keep stirring in order to prevent Semolina from burning.
- Add water, then milk and sugar.
- Cook until Ghee separates.
- Add desiccated Coconut. Switch off Flame.
- Ready to Serve.
